Exactly, they want to be considered “normal.” Look at the narrative in Genesis when the residents of Sodom confronted Lot and said; Genesis 19:9: “Get out of our way,” they replied. “This fellow came here as a foreigner, and now he wants to play the judge! We’ll treat you worse than them.” They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door.

This is about being judged; homosexuals do not want their behavior being seen as immoral, but accepted as “normal." It is all about acceptance, who are you to judge me?” And you see this everywhere in the media; anyone who does not accept homosexuality as an alternative sexual proclivity or valid inclination is condemned as homophobic and hateful--in other words judged as immoral himself. "When there are no absolutes to govern society, society becomes the absolute." Voila! It is now here and can be applied to anything including, marriage, abortion, murder, etc......
