KUALA LUMPUR: Despite being an investigator for almost two decades, analysing the Indonesia AirAsia flight QZ8501 will be one of the toughest challenging for Nurcahyo Utomo, who knew the pilot personally.
The National Transportation Safety Committee investigator, Nurchayo said listening to recording from black boxes over and over again can be disturbing and requires utmost mental strength.
Listening to the playback of a black box involved in a crash is not like listening to music or a discussion.
We are listening to a recording that represents the last moments before the crash and it is disturbing. There are times where the investigators would get unnerved listening to the recording, he told Viva.co.id.
Analysing the recording while listening to their final words like Allahuakhbar repeatedly, give the investigators goose bumps, Nurcahyo said.
It is as if we can feel them... Allahuakhbar, Allahuakhbar were the last words said before they died.

OK. The article says they are GOING to listen to the pilots’ last words. They haven’t YET listened.
The article is very poorly written, but that much is clear from the article.
So I don’t know if there were bearded savages in the cockpit yelling their favorite death chant. Don’t know. Will know soon.
George76 added his own commentary to the actual title when he posted, thus creating all of this confusion. This is why you don’t change titles.
That would have been from the cockpit voice recorder, not the passengers.
The rumors have officially begun.
Exactly.
are they trying to prepare us for something
Good question!
You may think it’s more appropriate, but you’ll have to correct Indonesias National Transportation Safety Committee investigator to let him know.
So they say “God is Great!”
Maybe. But I can’t keep from wondering if the tail fell off again.
I say again because the tail fell off another Airbus plane and of course caused it to crash. This was in NYC shortly after 9/11 and Airbus was not forced to fix the problem.
As near as I can tell, “Allahu akbar” is the all-purpose Arabic exclamation that combines “Oh my God,” “holy s**t,” and “hey y’all, hold my goat and watch this.”

Probably built by moslems.
Or they mean : Satan is greater than God.
And Duke University has initiated call to prayers for the Moooooslims, and Oxford has banned any mention of pork or pigs. I still love bacon though.
Allow me to.
“Allah Akhbar” means “God is great.” Yes, terrorists say this a lot, especially before suicide missions... because they are saying a prayer before dying, or sending others to their deaths. But it is most fundamentally, a prayer for death. As a Christian, I would certainly pray in those circumstances, and “God is great” is what Muslims pray before they die.
Also: “Allah” is a pre-Islamic word for “God” among the Christians of the Middle East. And to my understanding, that usage has spread among Christians in Muslim areas of SE Asia.
The apostrophe after the “s” indicates possessive plural.
Thank you.
Note to self: Never ride in a commercial airliner with a muzzie pilot.
As opposed to the single pilot, clearly showing that they are referring to pilots in general. But granted, the headline could have been written better.
The problem is that you have rightfully dopey people writing things and equally rightfully dopey people reading the dope that dopey people write, right?
Rite.
