Are there any plans to convert the Duke Chapel into a mosque?
Duke deserves every bit of rottenness that can be inflicted on it.
Colleges are actively in the business of promoting one ideology over others. An ideology of violence and intolerance.
Why: because they know this ideology wants to destroy American civilization and values.

How many Muslims do they have on campus? Or are they catering to non-student Muslims in and around Durham?
They have a large and beautiful Methodist (UMC) chapel at Duke. Do the Muslims get access for their prayers to the pedophile Mohammed?
I used to think of Duke as being a fine school. Allowing this muslim madness onto its campus changes my opinion. As an aside, I’ve noticed that the current Duke basketball team seems to have gotten somewhat thuggish. Duke basketball players used to look and act classy. Except for Christian Laettner, of course, remembered for his classless kicking of UK’s Aminu Timberlake.
Catholic students should demand that Angelus bells be rung at 6 am, noon and 6 pm.
I’d rather see the chapel in ruins and not even useful to any one than to have this happen. This must not be allowed to stand.

I understand what you're getting at. However, when I was a non-Muslim teaching at a Turkish university, I figured I could pray, too, when the call came. I figured my prayers were a lot more powerful than those of the Muslims.

One of my sons is a Duke basketball fanatic (infact he looks like he could be JJ Redick’s younger bro). He greatly admires Coach K, and has been a BlueDevil fan since kindergarten (pee wee bball). Duke didn’t have his chosen major, so he didn’t apply (we think he was afraid of NOT being accepted even tho he had a 4.1 HS gpa.
My son is stunned that Duke would permit this...”wonder what Coach K really thinks of this.”
