I recently saw an article touting the drop in homicides in Los Angeles. I could not find it just now, but found some rough data showing LA’s homicide rates is actually below Dallas. I did come across this gem from Wiki’s Los Angeles page.

Los Angeles in the year of 2013 totaled 251 murders, a decrease of 16 percent from the previous year. Police speculate that the drop resulted from a number of factors, including young people spending more time online

Could it be because in Texas: “You kill someone, we kill you back”. Let me remind you, our Texas death row is crowded and moves along at a relatively rapid pace compared to other states. Of course that is assuming you are not killed outright in a confrontation with an armed citizen. The armed citizen assisted by the castle doctrine and/or stand your ground, tends to keep criminals wondering who is armed and a risk to them. Sometimes when LEOs are called, it’s only for the clean up and paperwork. Still, some criminals are dumb enough to think the rewards outweigh the risks and continue to commit crimes. Liberals are appalled by the way we practice our “friendly” culture and maintain law and order by using our Constitutional right to bear arms for the protection and defense of our individual lives.

Yes, Texas means friendly and we intend to keep it that way! Stay “friendly”.

Chicago (Murder Capital of the USA) and Houston are similar.

Look at these facts...

Liberal Conclusion: Cold causes murder.
