BS. Any older person or anyone with equity in a home who has fallen on hard times or changes in employment or health care issues that have impoverished them is a target.
Lets see: a home, a car and clothing and basic necessities are excluded from any asset means test.
They don’t count under means-tested welfare programs. So unless you have a rich uncle somewhere, there is little for the government to recoup.
