Medicaid is not insurance. It is access to healthcare and takes all your assets. So people who are forced on Medicaid because Obama removed all the insurance options will lose all their assets.

But you’re right, for low income families, private health insurance is off the table because its expensive and coverage is so skimpy. Not worth signing up for it.
The only assets the state can recover around here are to repay the cost of long-term care (in a nursing home or whatever). Not ordinary hospital or clinic costs. Why shouldn’t the taxpayer recover some of that money?
Our son has pretty close to zero assets and has been dubbed ineligible for medicaid (despite inoperable cancer) because his "household income is too high. he is rooming with 2 others who now foot all the bills, but haven't kicked him to the curb yet.
We're trying to get him into ObamaCare to see if they also put him in Medicaid, but he hasn't the resources to make the insurance/deductible payments.

The crap called Obamacare sucks,if you force insurance companies to pay for procedures,cover people with pre existing conditions it is NOT INSURANCE IT IS WELFARE,At least be honest about it
