I think the Republicans will be lucky just to get a candidate listed for the Nov election.
With the new Prop 14 “jungle primary” rules, it could well be 2 Dems on the ballot.
Correction: The MEDIA thought it could get a Democrat elected. Democrats were hopeful, but they KNEW in their hearts they couldn’t win it outright - maybe if it was a runoff and the Senate hung in the balance and they could spend a billion dollars of Obama money.
They were just banking on conservatives staying home that day.
