No candidate can win a presidential nomination or the presidency itself if his wife has a top-level job on Wall Street, as Ted Cruz’s wife does.

And it’s unlikely that a candidate with virtually 100% name recognition among Republicans can win the 2016 presidential nomination if he’s only being supported by 5.5% of Republican voters in the latest polls, as Ted Cruz is.

By contrast, among Conservative candidates, Scott Walker and Ben Carson, who have been under the radar, are each receiving 8% support and neither one’s wife is earning million-dollar bonuses for helping Goldman Sachs work its selfish machinations through the American and global banking systems.

If we want a Conservative to win the 2016 Republican presidential nomination instead of Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush, shouldn’t we be getting behind someone who can win, like Scott Walker or Ben Carson, instead of the inevitably doomed Ted Cruz?

Carson/Rubio 2016

You have GOT to be kidding.

Carson may be a decent individual, but he's never held a single public office. We've had enough on-the-job-training by Obama to last us a lifetime. We surely do not need to repeat that mistake. Besides, Carson is weak on the 2nd Amendment. Pass.

Rubio?? What conservative in their right mind would vote for that guy after all he did to give amnesty to illegals? The guy's a backstabbing, bought-and-paid-for minion of the power elite. No thank you.

Bluestocking, IMHO you should consider changing your user name to LETUSPLITTHECONSERVATIVEVOTE. Rubio, of Amnesty promotion fame, has demonstrated that he is willing to sell out his “conservatism” in a nano-second. Ben Carson, decent man though he be, is VERY weak on the 2nd amendment and has not demonstrated a conservative core by a history of his ACTIONS. They serve merely to help splinter the conservative vote.
