Well, the source FBI report portion of the link you provided said this:
“...After being advised of the identity of the contacting agents, FANNIN, LENT, GILMORE and FLEISCHMAN provided the following information?...”
I know that the FBI has been degrading in quality of its agents, but this report is, at best, piss poor. A standard investigative report purporting to be a transcription of an interview (or series of interviews?) separates who specifically said what. So the report may include some things that “they” said but not include some things that another person who is a part of the “they” said. So you can feel free to place your complete trust in agents who now work under Eric Holder’s DOJ, but I’ll hold out my judgement.
To me, when there is a history of multiple people testifying to a person's pattern of behavior, that person most likely does have that pattern of behavior.

The ATF agents' story is the same as when he was first arrested in 2005.
the State Prosecutor chose to drop the charges. It's not difficult to read between the lines and realize there was evidence or witnesses contradicting the "official" report.
He took a plea deal, and in return for attending an anti-alcohol program, the charges were reduced. If that were the only thing on his record, this would be a different story. But there's a string of domestic violence claims made by different women.
If your daughter (assuming either of you have one) ever brought home a young man with this same kind of history, and he told you that everyone is lying about him, would you believe him?
There's a pattern here. It doesn't mean he was guilty in the Trayvon Martin case; he was brought to trial, and the jury found him not guilty. But, apparently, he always had some issues.
