I do not not about the bishop title; but LDSism does NOT have 'pastors' as such.

Marion George Romney, his first cousin, once removed, was one of the church's 12 Apostles. Romney's paternal great-grandparents practiced plural marriage, and went to Mexico in 1884 after the 1878 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Reynolds v. United States that upheld laws banning polygamy.^[45]^[46] Subsequent generations of Romney's paternal lineage have been monogamous, and none of his mother's Mormon ancestors were polygamists.^[47]^[48] Mitt Romney's father, George W. Romney has expressed his faith in Jesus Christ as his "Lord and Savior" openly to evangelical Christian groups.^[50] He has received support from evangelical Christians.^[51]^[52]

Any religious organization that is copacetic with figures even as widely opposed as Mitt Romney and Harry Reid probably isn’t being governed in any effective top down manner. But that’s how the Mormon game is played. Anyone moved to play it differently will probably be discouraged and leave it, before managing to work any meaningful reform.

We MUST keep the media constantly informed of those things the world considers christian.

We must NOT allow our MORMONness to show thru, as it has gotten a really bad rap thru history - lord only knows why...
