The comedian responded to the deadly attack on a French satirical magazine by renewing his recent criticisms of the Islamic faith.
Bill Maher didn’t hold back Wednesday night, blasting “hundreds of millions” of the world’s Muslims for allegedly supporting the Islamic terrorist massacre of cartoonists, writers, and editors at a Parisian satirical magazine that has mocked the Prophet Muhammad.
“I know most Muslim people would not have carried out an attack like this,” the host of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher said on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. “But here’s the important point: Hundreds of millions of them support an attack like this. They applaud an attack like this. What they say is, ‘We don’t approve of violence, but you know what? When you make fun of the Prophet, all bets are off.”

Just once I want to hear a liberal/leftist/democrat make a truthful statement critical of Islam and/or muslims without inserting an apology or a qualifier such as:
“I know most Muslim people would not have carried out an attack like this”
Or
“We know that this dastardly act was carried out by a few terrorists and that most muslims are good people who do not approve of such conduct”
Or
“These are just a few bad apples who do not follow the teachings of the Koran or the Prophet”
Radical muslims want to behead you. Moderate muslims want radical muslims to behead you.

There were articles back in October about Berkeley students wanting to cancel Maher’s speech because of his “anti-muslim” comments.

Fact is, Charlie Hebdo made fun of other celebrities and politicians, but the same never attacked them for it, and in fact the same targets of the paper a rallying in support for the publication.

I think some liberal or some organization turned on Maher because of the things he has said about Muslims as well. That may be in your well researched reference as well.
He made some movie poking fun at all religions I understand. “Religiosity” maybe.
Maher has been against Muzzie behavior for quite a while now, but that’s not what I’m interested in at the moment. I am issuing a more dire warning about one of our potential Pub Presidential candidates:
Beware of Jeb Bush. His whole family is pro-Arab. George Sr., George the Younger, Jeb, all of them. They are big oil men who have been personal friends of the Saudi Kings and family. If Jeb becomes President, he will be friendly to Arabs and will be loathe to take any actions against foreign Arab countries, especially if they have oil and/or oil interests. We will be looking at a lesser version of Barak Obama who himself is the equivalent of an actual Muzzie. He is one at heart, IMO.
We’ve got real problems here and defeating Jeb Bush in the primaries is an absolute necessity if we want to stop pro Muzzie Presidencies. Jeb is a danger not only on being pro Amnesty and pro Common Core Curriculum, but on Arab foreign policy and pro Muzzie sympathies. Jeb Bush must be stopped if this country is to survive more Arab infiltration into our country and more terrorist incidents in our country.
We hear Jeb speak next to nothing on foreign policy issues, almost nothing. Why? Jeb Bush has virtually no foreign policy experience. Great. Just what we need at a time like this.
P.S., if Hillary becomes President, she will be like Barak Obama lite with regard to Muslims. She too is a Muzzie lover, and would be an even greater danger to our Republic for a myriad of reasons, especially on Arab foreign policy.

I know the petroleum, petro-dollar is a complex situation which our economy is entwined with but we need to extricate ourselves from having “friends” like Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.

Actually you can tell by his words that he’s thought it out COMPLETELY and spent a lot of time on it.
He is on our side, at least on this issue.

You forgot the last part, which applies here too - they also denied it ever happened, or even that there was ever a problem.
I always wonder how these terrorists recruit. The only way that I can see is that one of them starts asking around at the local mosque: “Hey Ibrahim, how would like to take down a cafe in Paris where they allow women to show the left side of their noses in public?” 98% of the people in the mosque say “no thanks, I’m not into that”. But eventually they find the people they need. So what do the 98% do? Instead of going to Le-FBI, or whatever they call it in France, they simply and conveniently, forget they ever heard anything.
That is the REAL PROBLEM...it’s the ones that “tolerate” what’s going on.
