Best leave that to the pros.
I’m going *shopping* at the local AT&T Store, in the morning.
★ My trusty ol’ 23-yr old GE washer & dryer gave it up last night, and I had to string clotheslines in the basement to get clothes dried.
★ The 9-yr old phone went south today.
★ I’m sweating getting into the 13-yr old Jeep tomorrow, as it was making a funny (suspension) noise on the way home today. It’s got 410k on it, but is in pristine condition.
Things come in 3’s? Crap. Something bad’s gonna happen tomorrow, I just feel it.
I’ve got an old Nokia 6061 you can have.
Hey Biggirl
I think AT&T has the best unlimited data plan. Not cheap but it works in the most areas of the US.
Your washer and the dryer both died at the same time?
Or was it one of those combo units?
I have never had a washer and a dryer that “matched”.
My local big box stores (lowes and home depot)
still sell the old style machines.
I saw it on my Facebook this morning seems like this is Rwanda all over again.
When we moved to McLean last year we had a hugh 130’ nuisance white pine in the back yard I had cut down. Only cost me $1700 to cut it down and haul it away. The trunk was so big at the base they could only cut 8” at a time because it was so heavy to carry off.
Yikes. That’s a big tree!
I have a sweetgum tree that is pushing 60 to 70 ft. that is starting to become a nuisance. It’s always shedding something and the roots are starting to mess up the driveway.
I’ve replaced two sets in the past 10 years in the old house and the new house.
What I’ve found is the new dryers work much faster then the old dryers with the extra high speed spin in the new washers. But the new high efficiency washers suck because they take much longer using low water so the net result the new pairs take about the same time as the old ones.
If I could find a refurbished old washer with extra high speed sin I’d go that way, I could care less how much water they used.
Still workin the gun list

I still like old-fashioned low-speed sin.
A Speed Queen top loading washer cycle is 28 minutes.

You’ve got some big decisions to make.
Hmm, do you get the Ferrari or the Lamborghini?
Dad and I still have the AT&T plan from the Farm Business: two phones, 4G, 700 mins/mo w/ rollover, $74.50/mo.
High speed sin is doin it 11 times
4 a carry piece or home protection?
Are those legal or is it like buying a 3 gallon toilet on the black market? LOL!
