WASHINGTON Sen. Barbara Boxer, Californias junior senator since her election in 1992 and a former Marin County supervisor, announced Thursday that she will not run for re-election when her term expires in 2016.
Boxer, 74, made her decision public via a video release with her grandson Zach Rodham.

Which CA Republican should run for the U.S. Senate? I hope Congressman Issa will run. Since he ran for the U.S. Senate in 1998, that helps him have high name recognition, compared to other Republicans.
