He has a history of mental illness and violence, and there is a local uproar because his lawyer saw enough of a threat in his demeanor that day that she contacted both the police and DCF, that day to try to stop him from harming either himself and/or his child.
The cops actually talked to him a few (5) hours before he killed Phoebe, and determined he was “OK” enough that they couldn't legally detain him. The actions of the DCF is a bit murkier.
The lawyer was female, BTW.
The mother was not involved in this situation.
You should STFU right now.

I can't give you the benefit of a doubt now, as if you are merely ignorant of the actual facts.

Let’s get back to basics.
1. I said the mom probably killed her. That was based on early info about her record, and was just a thought. I understand now that they weren’t living together, so it seems unlikely she did it.
2. I think she was dead before being tossed over the bridge. You say she wasn’t. Can you point me to a source for that ?
I am not being a jerk. I want to know the truth. Nothing I’ve seen so far makes it seem she was alive. I know if I was a kid, and anyone picked me up and got me near the side of a bridge, I would have been climbing over their head and down their back. Why wasn’t this child reacting ?

You could have just explained that earlier. Was that info on your local news ?

If true, I concede. I would prefer to wait for the autopsy.
It just seems odd that he would drive at such high speed, attracting attention, to get to a bridge to throw her over. Maybe it wasn’t where he was going, but he was running out of time with the cops on his tail. I still think she was dead.
Hopefully we will get the facts soon.
Since it appears you are local to this case, perhaps you could fill me in.
The info I get is that the mother is a coke-addicted, check-kiting, pole-dancing prostitute who got a new boyfriend, and her estranged husband decided to kill her child (he had others that were his?) as revenge.
Is any of this true ? One of the reasons I ask is that the mugshots of what I assumed to be the mother do not resemble any kind of pole dancer I’ve ever seen.
