RE:”Was the Battle of Kasserine Pass a half-*ssed and last minute effort? If not, I’d say that’s a poor comparison”

In fact its the first battle in the 1970 George C Scott movie Patton, Its in North Africa the first time the US army tangled with the German army under Rommel and the US got their asses kicked, really kicked.

Totally unprepared to fight. Then Patton is sent in to straighten out the army there.

I took a history course in college called WWII, I loved it.

It is when half the army wants to keep voting RINO for the win no matter what.

I don’t care how many elections this has played out. Nothing the RINOs do is ever enough to get a big chunk of FR to budge off the reservation. And thats the supposedly most conservative site in the world. So what are the odds joe and his new F350 are going to that dont visit political sites?

Zero.

People are mewling sheep that need to be led. The problem is that every time anyone rises to lead, the other sheep attack them. Crab in a pot style.

I say again. Until we rid ourselves of the Freeper left, we lead no one including ourselves. THEN we can get our shit together. No house divided ever stood.

RE:“...Kasserine Pass...”
Remember - that was a battle in a larger war. We need to keep things in context”

Unfortunately this is the latest in the series of KPs and Lou Gomert aint no Patton.

He said that he trusted Boehner and Boehner lied to him.

“That’s great, but don’t be surprised if you are not successful in getting a bunch of people to join you.”

Oh, you of little faith.

At the Bundy Ranch last year, 5,000 patriots mustered ready to fight, and the fascist federal pigs ran away like dogs.

What we need to do is protest in the streets of Washington DC . park our cars nothing in DC moves until dictator Obama resigns. they did it in Georgia, Egypt. then Constitutional Convention the states take power back . the federal government is too large and Obama is a dictator. This guy did it by himself against the Chineese army

....”The NWO is winning and we continue to live in denial”....

Well that.... but there are other reasons......all of which have been expressed on this thread.

We see the blacks all over the place protesting, but what have they actually accomplished by doing so but to blow hot air.

The issue is Washington has not represented the people for a very long time, but they know full well how to play us to get in their game...and we do play along. For what other effective options are there that are significant enough to break down the walls WAshington has firmly in place to keep us out and them in?

Elections, regardless are our only tool that “counts” when all is said and done...and even they are corrupted. Sadly WAshington cares not that they are...they have the tools to tweak them at will.

The phone lines were full and they were even transfering calls to fax machines! We’ve been to WAshington time and again with numbeers sufficient...but their game goes on with a few bows to the audiance to manipulate us to believe they’re listening...they aren’t.

.

There you go ... making statements that you can't back up ...

the 2015-01-03 were over five weeks in planning ... with lots of details, including a nine-point plan for organizing a local rally ...

You can read it yourself at:

http://www.engineering-excellence.us/stop_obama_amnesty.html

You see, "attitudes" like yours are precisely the problem.

There will always be critics like ... "Free Republic is too impersonal" ...

"we don't have enough time"

"it might rain 3 Saturdays from now"

"they didn't spell my middle name right"

"it's too far to drive"

"I ONLY agree with 92-percent of their platform"

"he used to be a marine"

Then, to add insult to injury, instead of just "fessin' up" that you're too flippinp lazy to do anything ...

you'll critize "anything" that moves.

Frankly, I personally challenge you to plan, organize, communicate "better" than I did.

Ball's in your court, Sailor.

None of that works in todays WAshington climate...they’ve learned well how to dodge wahtever we do as they have positioned their games above our heads sufficient to just keep moving things along as they will.

They aren’t listening...they don’t want to...it’s that simple...and they don’t care one iotta what we think! That IS the bottom line.

I am going to say this once. Pardon my 'shouting'.

Nine of ten Republicans just voted against Conservatives. That's 90%. If you are a conservative, the Republican Party is NOT YOUR FRIEND.

For the last dozen or so elections, Conservatives in this country have worked their butts off to get Republicans elected. Often, even before the final votes are in, the Conservatives are being thrown under the bus, compromises are announced, etc.

It is sick.

Sick in the sense that Conservatives continue to delude themselves that the Republican party cares about anything but a vote, and then, back in your hole.

It hasn't changed, it isn't going to change as long as Conservatives settle for lesser evils.

It is stupid to call liberals in the GOP RINOs, when they are the very essence of the party.

It is time to wake up and realize that we have been enabling our philosophical enemies who will vote against us every time their agenda comes in conflict with nuisances like the US Constitution, and will pay lip service to Conservative values during the campaign, and forget them when they cross the Beltway.

Now, that isn't every Republican (it is only nine of ten who make a bad name for the rest), but those with the integrity to stand up to the Boehner machine will be punished for their temerity. Just watch.

We need a third party, we have for decades been in denial that we could change the GOP from within. It is as well entrenched a criminal empire as the Democrat Party, and is making their common agenda happen while promising us otherwise.

Caww, I am not blaming the people for trying what they can, but we have to face the fact that we have had very little in the way of wins. There is a reason for that, but it is up to us to see that and realize when we are like dogs chasing our own tail.

The whisky ain’t workin’ anymore! We are running out of time living in denial whilst we naval gaze and pretend we actually have a stab at it.

Maybe it is too late. Liberty isn’t a gimme, we have to fight for it.

"Lou Gohmert ain't no Patton" ...

And either was Patton "no" Jesus Christ (no sacriledge intended).

Patton had a couple of issues he wrestled with. He was NOT a Saint.

But ... BY GOD ... he was "our man" in the fight ...

and like Louie Gohmert was willing to sacrifice his career-life to do the right thing.

Each of us will die someday ...

I damned sure hope that the SAME is said of me ... and "you" too ...

“..the US got their asses kicked, really kicked...”

We did, for sure. We did at Pearl harbor, too.

And Bataan. And Corregidor. And in the Ardennes (for a little while).

It’s a war, and that sh*t happens in war.

Not a “hot” one yet. But war nonetheless.

We can sit and whine about it, or we can learn from it and keep pushing back.

We got people in despite the RINOs, and we will remove their asses one by one, however long it takes.

Brother, that’s them.

That ain’t us.

We’ll be strident, loud, obnoxious, and in their face as much as we need to be until we get what we want.

RE:”We can sit and whine about it, or we can learn from it and keep pushing back.”

There is nothing a few privates can do in a army led by idiots .

I think that's been illustrated many times.
