what the heck are our Texas delegation thinking? All of them except for one (not counting Louie) are a sell out for the get along crowd.

Kenny Marchant really flipped my noodle (I didn't see his name on the list of those who voted against Boehner). He's been as straight as an arrow up to this point.

What we've witnessed only adds weight to my working theory, which is, we're now past the point of a political solution in this country. The civil systems set up by the Framers have been so badly subverted and compromised, that even an historic election can't change the dynamic in Washington.

It's going to take a whole new kind of activism to wrest our country back from the ruling class cabal.

“..we’re now past the point of a political solution in this country.”

I cannot agree more with this statement. Oh, give it one more election everyone says, it will be different next time. This has been one of my older sister’s and my biggest arguments. She says elections are there to fix these problems. I say DC is way too broke to fix. Corruption too deep. She called me screaming yesterday afternoon after Boehner won and all I could say, told ya.

We need a BIG shake-up in DC and not something that comes every 2, 4, or 6 years. My writing letters, phoning and faxing days are over. Time to move it up a notch or two.
