Ive emphatically shared my disagreements with House Speaker John Boehner. As one of the leading conservative Members of this body, I opposed the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill that did nothing to block President Obamas unilateral amnesty order, I fought for tougher stances on out-of-control spending, government regulation and ObamaCare, and I refused to vote for a watered down NSA spying bill, amongst myriad other initiatives most of which unilaterally were ignored by the Democrat-controlled Senate. But the 2014 elections just changed this equation.
This is not a choice about who is the most conservative. Its a choice about who effectively can lead a broad coalition, including conservative viewpoints, to get our Nation back on track.
We must unite behind our conservative beliefs not fight with each other. I respect those who disagree with my decision, but instead of demonizing our fellow conservatives or, in some unfortunate cases, questioning my integrity, I urge them to help convince our fellow citizens that our conservative vision of greater freedom and opportunity for all Americans is the key to Americas renewal.

I’m sorry, what was that? Did someone say something?
I at least managed to vote majority GOP at the state level in ‘14. At the rate they’re going, I’m going to have a hard time doing even that come ‘16.
Or the Huckster.
Even Braxton Bragg has the sense to ask to be replaced after the Battle of Chattanooga.
F’ing sellouts
“This is not a choice about who is the most conservative. Its a choice about who can name me the chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee 24 hours before the Speakership vote is held. I might be a whore, but I’m not a cheap whore.”
I have already made my call to my state Rep urging him to run for Phil Roe’s seat in TN-1.
Would have sucked had he merely been reelected, but they gave us the middle finger with their standing O.
All I hear is, “Blaa blaa blaa.”
We either need our own party or move to have parties abolished altogether Whatever. The Republican Party has to go.
If I was a liberal in 2015, I’d be laughing and crapping on everyone too. :)
Dear Scott Perry and GOP,
Go to friggin’ Hell!
Jerkholes.
But it only takes 2 weeks to corrupt them.
The faster we realize voting in fresh blood is a waste of time, the faster we can move on to something else to correct the problem.
Question...
When has “Cheeto” (I like that name btw ;) ) lead on a conservative view point?
Anyone know?
I’d send him out first to charge....
Friendly fire? opps.
Thanks...Roe is done in my eyes!
Most will be re-nominated in 2016, as Republican primary voters don’t know who voted for what and will just ratify a name on the ballot that they can recognize.
Get lost, Jerk!
Where does one register to vote with a city? In liberal VA, maybe? In most places, it’s with the county.
