If I got the math right, there could be 39 “Other” votes by the end at the current rate.

If conservative dissenters had agreed on 1 candidate this would look a lot less silly.
Instead we have 3 dissenters nominated, people still voting for others who were not nominated, and 1 blitering idiot has voted for Rand Paul (Clausen of Florida I believe, the fake tea party guy). So either Clausen doesn’t understand that a Senator cannot hold another office or he wants Rand to resign so the rat Governor can replace him, brilliant.
And DJ’s rat Rep Cooper voted for Colin Powell again, lol. Isn’t Colin still officially a Republican? Strip his committee assignments, Nancy!
My prediction from another thread: just as Pelosi conveniently allowed a few “moderate” Democrats to vote against Obamacare to save face, a choice few “conservatives” will be allowed to vote against Boner while he wins by a comfortable margin.

Small children, babies, antsy tots. . .all sitting in the House while the vote is taken.
The House is a place where serious business is done affecting the greatest nation on earth. Bringing in babies, tots and children adds nothing and is a disruption.
Historic moment selecting a speaker? Sure. But a baby/tot/child is not in awe of the process and is basically a prop.
What’s next? I forecast a House member during regular business running the floor and holding her baby in her arms.
