There is a fine line between advocating for reform of criminal law and policy and hating police officers for enforcing those laws and acting in accordance with those policies. Dems, as usual, took the low road and I knew they would do this.
I think conservatives knew of the problems for quite some time and failed to act on reform. In the vacuum, comes the haters and destroyers. It’s like we sit on the side lines whispering amongst ourselves, but don’t have any power or think tanks to lead the charge of reform which we would do without hurting police officers but helping the public.
The other problem we are facing is the Federal police state. We know there are problems - that the organization set up to go after Islamic terrorists have turned on the American public. But we do nothing to design and advocate for change. The Left led by Muslims will come in like a whirlwind of hate to “fix” homeland insecurity once a republican is in office.
Why is the Federal government collecting all our health records? So they can use that data to deny the second amendment to citizens, for one thing. So they can get dirt on political and social opponents, for another thing. Conservatives know this is dangerous but say nothing about it.
I can tell you've thought about this Sara... do you have some working ideas on how we could successfully advocate for change?
