President Obama fits in a visit with Eddie Vedder while in Hawaii

HONOLULU, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama and his daughters visited Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and family on the final day of their Hawaiian vacation on Saturday.

The president and his family were renting a vacation home near Honolulu, Hawaii, where he was born, and they decided to visit Eddie Vedder while in Kailua. Vedder played the Hawaiian ukelele at a 2012 re-election fundraiser for Obama in Tampa, Fla.

You can’t tell me that this is not a magnificent song. Just beautiful, and so perfectly simple.

That being said, Eddie is a complete jerk, and most of Pear Jam’s songs are not very good.

They hit a home run with this one though.

Why is it that multiple articles I have read about this over the past week or so, from different sources, have all included the exact same phrase - "where he was born" - after mentioning that the president was vacationing near Honolulu?? Not only are they all pathetic lapdogs, but they even use the exact same wording - they can't even be original (or maybe that's a part of the point they are making, a bit of "wink wink, nudge nudge" among themselves).
