There is just something really wrong with that. Not one of the people refused, asked to see a warrant or objected in any way. Nor did any of these LEOs seem to be uneasy doing it. No apparent fear for their own safety.
I am reminded of the popular Solzhenitsyn quote:
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?..."
And we're all supposed to swoon because some ditzy b!tch had a moment of logic in her room temperature liberal thought patterns? Where was her mind earlier? Did she vote for 0? Does she think we should all be able to own whatever we want? (That last on I doubt.) I get tired of idiots who have a moment of firearms clarity in their muddled brains and act as if they just invented sex.
It isn't about them, but about the tireless work of all of us who from childhood knew what the second amendment is realy for.
Experience is factual, reading about others experiences is questionable and can be pure agenda driven propaganda as we see with the Anti Gun gun groups diversion of facts 24/7.
This lady believed everything she had read or heard about from the liberal gun grabber left socialists.
Then the facts fell on her door step to live thru first hand per se......
My opinion...arm yourselves folks.
I was brought up to be overcautious about disclosing that kind of info.to anyone, including relatives or neighbors.
I’m willing to say that my attitude may change once I’ve become more experienced and educated with how to handle guns. There’s a lot to be said for being openly supportive of the Second Amdmnt.
Opposition to the Second Amendment is abstract.
Support for it is concrete.
;)
One of the things she needs to do is impress her husband and kids with the imperative NOT to brag or mention to friends there’s a gun in the house. She also needs to shut her pie hole about a gun in the house!
This happened to a friend whose kids mentioned it at school. It got to the wrong parties, my friend’s house got burglarized, and several guns were stolen. The guns were later recovered on the East Coast and returned. However, this is the exception and not the rule. Talk to other people with firearms, but not to strangers or those you are not close to — including relatives.
Roger that! That’s why it’s “CONCEALED” carry. No pics of new items whatever they are posted where others can see them. Crushed boxes inside out for new larger items that maybe you got for Christmas. And life vests for all your items the next canoe trip you take.
It took Mrs. Miletus a while to be comfortable with a gun in the house.
The first thing I did was show her how to unload and "make safe" each of the firearms I owned. after she could do that we went to the range. Started her out with the small calibers and moved her up at her pace.
Fast forward and friend of hers asked what she would do if I ever cheated on her. Her reply: "He wouldn't dare, he has guns and I know how to use them".
LOL! Yeah, they need to get out of Mass.
They don’t live in Mass (there is no Wayne County in Mass). Her “buy then train” experience couldn’t have happened in that order in Mass; her storage at home isn’t legal in Mass -— the article is just full of hits like that.
Then that tag line “Paula also writes for Ohio Conservative Review” kind of clinched it since there *is* a Wayne County in that state.
I don’t think that (as another poster said above) she is a liberal either. Just *look* at her credits.
P.S. Not all Mass residents are liberals. *gasp*
How on earth does Paula manage to keep the gun from jumping up, flying down the block and killing indiscriminately?
I don't think that means what she thinks it means.
Proof positive, patriots have more fun.
Carson being black and all
Gets lots a Freeper love anyhow from the uninformed but emotive
That’s a mixed blessing hoss
Amen, but I would have her knowing how to use them if the need should arise.
