Another confirmation of my theory that leftys with gold plated healthcare seem to go on forever (Soros, J. Carter, Castro bros, etc)

That’s why I say that it was Reagan that was the RINO, outside of Reagan and Goldwater, Brooke is what the GOP has always been.

Lincoln was a liberal. Reagan and Goldwater were the anomalies

Poppycock, reb. The democrats have always been the party of scum.

RIP

“Knew” Barbara Walters.

Did any Blacks before him wage serious popular election Senate campaigns?

Poppycock?? Who uses that word anymore?

I can’t believe people still think that there are two parties. Send me your address and I’ll FedEx a friggin’ CLUE to you.

I just drove past the Ed Burke courthouse/Taj Mahal last night.

Other blacks running for the US Senate In MA: Jack E. Robinson. A complete tool with less chance of winning than the Tid-E-Bowl Man. One of your baseball FRiends probably “backed” him. Fits the MO: A hopeless schmuck with a negative chance of winning...

I am familiar with “Jack E.” (lol) He ran as a (not that conservative) Republican so the person you mention would not have backed him. ;p He’d only back a democrat with a small chance to win the democrat primary. ;d Jack E. has since left the party I believe.

What I was asking is if any Black candidate *before* Brooke (in any state and of either party) had waged a serious Senate race (post 17th amendment).

I am thinking: no.
