Again, you aren’t addressing the question; furthermore, the question you raise is independent of the economic system.

Again, what prompted my question (in post 36) was the sentiment in Post 3:
“That said, yes, I’m sure the CIA has acted out-of-line a few times but Communism did have to be contained.”

Reformulated, the question is this:
Does capitalism need its proponents to crush communism’s supporters in the marketplace of ideas, using “political correctness” for ideologies we like?

The followup question is this:
Does “defending against Communism” justify the government acting contrary the constraints imposed by the Constitution?
(If so, why? Moreover, what other ideological entities justify contraconstitutional actions?)
