Exactly. During the emptying of the mental hospitals in California, I remember one guy who begged not to be let out because he said he couldn’t control himself and he felt like a “puppy on the freeway.” They dumped him out anyway.

Shortly after being released, he went on to kill and eat his grandmother, after killing a couple of teenage girls he’d come across.
