GOHMERT: GOP LEADERSHIP NOT ‘ON BOARD’ WITH DEFUNDING EXEC AMNESTY
Breitbart ^ | 12/29/2014 | Ian Hanchett

Posted on 12/31/2014 9:00:50 AM PST by Jan_Sobieski

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) declared that Republican leaders in Congress “need to get on board” with defunding the president’s executive action on immigration on Monday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

“Some of us wanted a contract that would include defunding the amnesty. I think that helped us win the majority in the Senate. Defund the amnesty, defund Obamacare as much as we can in next year’s legislation. And release the energy sector to provide more jobs. It’s ready. There’s ready to be an economic boom if we will stop the overregulation. Let states that have the power do the regulation. Those are things we ought to do immediately upon taking over as a new Congress. but we promised people not amnesty, but defunding the amnesty, and Republican leaders need to get on board” he said...

I can't think of anything the good guys can do at this point to get some impetus and momentum.

The e-GOP has everything in a death grip and are kicking conservatives off their committees .... The party and convention committees will be just the same, then they'll all stand up in prime time at the national convention and sing a rousing chorus of "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" to Karl Rove and Mephistophilis at the convention.

Except that the Occupy people are still basically Communist b*stards trying to cut our throats, yeah.

Some of them, sure.
Most of them are, I think, going with the flow; you have to remember that the majority of citizens have been raised by indoctrination-centers [public school] and haven't had real alternatives to that world-view presented: so "by default" they're going to frame things in that [socialist/statist] world-view.

It's stupid to kick them out to the curb because they lack the words (remember Newspeak in 1984?) to express the ideas that are, for the most part, closer to your own than you realize.

You misread my post. I posit that the GOP-e do not want any conservative House members or a conservative voting base that can succeed in securing House seats or the Presidency. Conservatives are a thorn in their side, which they see as something that must be removed, so that they can further their entire agenda rather the Chamber of Commerce is behind the amnesty push or not.

"It would appear the institution of congress itself affects people in a leftward way."

It's only leftward if you believe Fascism is to the left.

I contend Fascism transcends left and right, as those are "republican" terms associated with elective government under a rule of law.

The Fascism that has taken over the US Regime is truly insidious in that it allows the overt presentation of republican government, while in reality it is a perfect union between Capital, Labor and Government...

The USA is no different than China or Russia or the EU. We started from vastly different origins and took different paths.

But we arrived in the same place.

We all evolved to Fascism.

The GOP has an agenda? Don’t keep it a secret. What is it?

Article V Amendment Convention; I've written up a booklet outlining several needful amendments, and the rationale/justification for them here.

To be Democrats. (Or at least elites.)

“House Speaker John Boehner and the soon-to-be Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell published an op-ed in Thursday’s Wall Street Journal promising to aggressively pursue their legislative agenda, including building the Keystone pipeline and repealing Obamacare.”

This is post election news. A Republican agenda is beginning to take form. Also included in the proposed agenda is reigning in the EPA and improving school choice.

Did they mention stopping Obama? That’s what they were voted in for

Keystone pipeline is not why they retook the senate in historic proportions and it was not their agenda

Nor was it obamacare, which they’ve had the power to repeal all along everyone knows that. Ask Cruz

Any statement their speechwriters collaborate on two months after the election has nothing to do with what they were voted in for Voters knew there was no agenda but they wanted something to be done about Obama

Now they’re on display they and their non agenda and they’re hoping people will scramble for the crumbs and forget

Repeal of obamacare will happen after the revelation of what happened in Benghazi.

The only agenda the republicans have is to collect pay (ola) and kick the can Running Jeb is part of the ‘get me off stage’ plan

I agree. With these Republicans we get nothing of value in return. They most definitely will not create an agenda that reflects the will of the voters in this last election. I, too, wish that we could get Ted Cruz in the White House, but that is not likely to happen either.

I’m sure he would make boner cry. Hell, just the thought of not being able to kiss obama’s ass makes him cry.

CAESAR:"Et tu, Brute?" "[And you, too, Brutus"?] Caesar calling out to Brutus as his friend Brutus and other Roman Senators suddenly and repeatedly began stabbing Caesar to death. from Shakespeare play.

VOTERS WHO VOTED FOR REPUBLICANS THIS MIDTERM: "Et tu, Boehner?" Referring to how Speaker Boehner betrayed and stabbed midterm Republican voters in the back with his passage of the recent traitorous spending bill.

BOEHNER: Who is Judas? Why do people keep calling me Judas as I walk down the street? Why did someone recently leave 30 pieces of silver on my doorstep? I only want what is best for America. As my new secret friend Obama likes to say: "It was the right thing to do.God bless America!"

>> In many cases they are as bad as the progressives.

Arguably, traitors are worse than one’s obvious adversary.
