NYS inspector general probing Thruway Authority

The state Inspector General’s Office is finalizing a bombshell investigation into the state Thruway Authority that is said to reach the highest levels of the organization, sources say.

While the focus is unclear, two sources confirmed the Cuomo administration has already been approaching possible replacements for Thruway Authority Executive Director Thomas Madison.

Reps for the inspector general's office, Cuomo and the Thruway Authority had no comment.

Billionaire developer Howard Milstein recently resigned as Thruway Authority chairman. One source said Milstein, a big-time donor to Gov. Cuomo, to avoid getting caught up in the controversy once the IG report is released. But another source denied that was the case, saying Milstein had planned to leave after Cuomo's first term.

The Feds are looking at Maurie Silver (D-NYC) for unreported income from 2 different NY legal firms.
The Feds are looking at Cuomo's termination of the Moreland Commission's Ethics investigation when it got to close to his election funding sources.
And now the IG is looking into the Thruway Authority.
Perhaps the Feds should look into what happened to Hurricane Sandy Federal re-building funds and see where they went (hint: Commercials for Cuomo's tax Free NY),
which were designed to bring Cuomo into the National limelight prior to the 2016 elections.
Maybe they should look into the Dean Skelos (R/Rino-Syr) relationship to Gov. Cuomo's (D) re-election of 2014.
New York politics is looking interesting lately ... after the 2014 mid term elections !
