Driver Concerned About Couple Out In The Cold Gets Carjacked ( Colorado )

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – A good deed for a Colorado Springs man turned into a terrifying experience Friday evening.
According to police, the man picked up a couple near Jet Wing Drive and Astrozon Boulevard around 6:40 p.m. because he was concerned they were cold.
The man agreed to drive the couple about a mile down the road, but when they arrived at the destination the man pointed a gun at him and took his car.

Surely by now you have noticed that if it is a white criminal act the description of the criminal is given, if black criminality occurs the description given is one or more of the following:”youths,” “teens,” “person,” “man,” “perpetrators.” In short, if the criminal is black the race is never given by the media, you know that. Sheesh!

Agreed. First time in decades I’ve seen an article like this that bothered to give sufficient details to help the public avoid and/or turn in such dangerous individuals.

You’re right. That’s not a very good part of town. I’ve stopped and helped strangers many times in my life - without incident. I wouldn’t in that part of town, period.
