President Obama said there is much to be thankful for during Kwanzaa, which runs from Friday to Jan. 1, 2015.
Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to those celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season. Today begins a celebration highlighting the rich African American heritage and culture through the seven principles of Kwanzaa unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith, Mr. Obama said Friday. The Kinara is the candleholder that is used in Kwanzaa, a holiday created in 1966 by Maulana Karenga, who was born Ron Everett. He is now professor and chairman of the Department of Africana Studies at California State University, Long Beach, according to his website.

Fake phoney fraud.
And not even a very good celebration of Socialism...
Socialism has the grace to dispense with any “supernatural” deities, and make it all about Human Secularism. One of the principles of Kwanzaa is “faith”, a concept totally at odds with Human Secularism, as it involves accepting something that is invisible and without any tangible immediate reward.
That is when those who make money cooperate by paying taxes so those that do not work can co-opt government distributed money.

Obama to celebrate ramahannukwanzaamas.
At least that’s what I expect next from this parody admin in current office.
I don’t recognize this kwannzaah, Obaama
We celebrate Christmas at our home.
I have read and re-read your entry several times. It appears to be very well written, but I still don’t get what the conclusions are that you have reached. My Tailored Made Thinking Cap is still in the dryer.
Actually, black “Americans” celebrate Christmas. Only liberals and progressives, black or white and most blacks, celebrate the fake season of Kwanzaa.
Black and white Republicans tend to talk about sports, politics and their business or job.
Black and white Democrats tend to talk about race relations, social justice and group-think issues common to both.
Black Republicans are easy to find; just listen to what they talk about and what’s important to them.
Black Democrats are also easy to identify. Life is all about race, social justice and radical issues.
were it not for the Internet...Id likely never have heard of kwanzaa let alone ever have seen any evidence that it actually “exists”...
the black the white, the red.. the yellow...and the brown ALL seem to celebrate Christmass...in one from or another.
Now THAT’S ......Diversity!!!
“...what EXACTLY is cooperative economics?”
That’s where, ‘We The People’ give Mother Government everything we EARN over subsistence wages, for her to SQUANDER as she sees fit!
Well THAT was depressing as hell...
They want a different legal system from those who recognize the collected wisdom of the ol' skool, logical legal system (with all of ITS flaws).
Your gov't is in the process of setting up this separate legal system and will decide who is governed by which one at a given time. (Keep paying your taxes though....)
