Well look at your own name. From the bible. Which tells of a Lord who cares, but will still give us a certain leeway to hurt ourselves if we insist.

Leadership in a human sense is a two edged sword. It’s possible that a Ronald Reagan could be so “good” that people say let him go on by autopilot, rather than by their feeding in the best that the Lord can inspire them with. It is not common on this earth to have a democracy or quasi-democracy of this scale, and with it comes the responsibility of the electorate to not just vote but pray and act. Without that, we might as well just have a monarch and hope and pray it will be a benign monarch.

Sacrifices were made to create opportunities. They might well have been worth it if the Lord had also been called on as the saving Lord of the hearts and souls of the land, the beneficiaries as well as the benefactors. But He wasn’t. So He sits there in heaven waiting and gives the devil a certain leeway of permission. And these opportunities were squandered by black America.

Gospel is the only true way out of this mess. It is a benefit offered free by the Lord to those who will worship Him, giving their lives to live His life out on earth.

Yes Indeed. The part I’ve never understood is how they think hurting or insulting or showing contempt for, or disrupting the lives of. innocent citizens is supposed to engender support for whatever they want. It doesn’t take any genius to see that such rude and offensive conduct only results in offense and a natural opposition to the perpetrators.

As the quote I posted noted, Rules for Radicals doesn’t aim for support. It aims to foment division. For example, in the anti-police rallies at present, Obama & co don’t hope or expect white America to back the protestors. They expect the racial divide to widen and worsen.

That is what is so evil about Alinsky tactics. ‘Blessed are the peacemakers’ - and Alinsky is the opposite.
