If a teen doesn’t act like a jackass or a thug there’s no need for “Turning his life around”. Neither of my kids have ever turned their lives around because there’s been no need to.
Has any dead felon ever tried to live by the “early to bed, early to rise” motto and put in even one week’s worth of legitimate effort at a real job? Most likely not.
Ahem... these people at this point (if sincere) are more in tune with what God says than you are. It’s like you think if you put forth some outward signs even from childhood on, you are now in utter tune with virtue? Pride over show may be worse than being desperate over nothing to show.
