I believe the left can also take credit for the Westboro gang. They’re not really a church, and certainly not part of the “right”.
Fred Phelps tried to be Clinton’s running mate, so unless someone is really blind, that tells you which side Phelps was an offshoot. Jim Jones was well admired by leftists before things got ugly, and then denial kicked in.
