I’m not against the military shooting an airliner down under the right circumstances. I’m just not convinced that’s what happened here.
Guess who the blame would go to. The United States would be the fall-guy here. Sorry, I’m not buying in at this point.
also I doubt that all the ship’s company would keep such an event under their caps. Word of a shootdown corroborated by multiple witnesses would be available minutes after the ship hits port. our ship movements could be discovered by an investigator (assuming the government cooperates)..
not that it wouldn’t happen, its just that it could not be kept quiet forever.
