I am no longer a Republican. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and their Democrat-lite, RINO Republican establishment have seen to that. They have betrayed their own constituents. They have actively turned against the American people the very voters who granted them power to do good.
Even before the gavel has sounded on the Republican-led 114th Congress, these treacherous cowards shamelessly, eagerly, it seems, squandered perhaps the one opportunity they had to stop, in his tracks, America's first cultural Marxist, anti-American, palpably evil president.
If ever there were, there can no longer be any doubt. Barack Obama is bent on turning the land of the free and the home of the brave into the land of the conquered and the home of the weak. He is an egalitarian globalist who hates America. He has repeatedly spat upon the very Constitution he was sworn to uphold.
Last month Republicans were elected by "We the people" in an unprecedented landslide in a Democratic Party bloodbath with clear marching orders. They were given one task and one task alone.
Stop Barack Obama.
They have failed both miserably and willfully.
What's worse is that the Republican establishment has worked in concert with this wicked man. They have aided and abetted him as he and his godless Democratic Party summarily deconstruct all that has made America great. The Republican Party is complicit in the ill-fated fall of the American Empire.
I don't know what kind of dirt Barack Obama and his NSA-KGB have on John Boehner, but within a week of the elections it became abundantly clear that the GOP would betray us.

“no problem, brother,
other people will decide your future for you
you just go ahead and feel good about yourself”
Thanks.
Other people will decide yours as well they already do, mine too, everybodys in fact.
You go ahead and stay in that puzzle of trying to sit in the corner of a round room.
And remember, the main thing is to enjoy your life.
Have fun.
Dang. Its times like this when I wish I could leave the gop in disgust. But alas, I never joined.
Why wait?. The uniparty is foursquare behind both.
Cohnsider staying home. You probably have a sock drawer that needs arranging.
Better option: quit wasting time on partisan politics. Freedom and liberty come from within.
Yet you are a good man who actively worked to have a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual rights, pro government-run health control, pro environmentalist agenda, and pro activist judges (not to mention pro gun control) man to be president. That would be Romney, and if you think I overstate the case, do your due diligence on his actual words and record. I have. You voted FOR all the things I abhor, and that all "good men" who oppose evil should abhor.
Intentions are wishes. Actions are deeds. You intend to vote "against" the Democrats but in action, you endorse moving the Republican party farther to the left.
Own it or stay home. If you believe in "voting against," you are the most basic stage of low-information voter.
I am not a doctor, but
I think you have might have an undiagnosed mental problem.
Seriously.
If you are on medications then you should have them checked.
-
My vote is my voice, and I will not be silenced.
You can not make me “not vote”, and why would you want to?
Seriously.
Why would you want me to “not vote”?
“...the food analogy doesnt work...”
why not?
-”...the main thing is to enjoy your life...”
I can not disagree with that, I just wish the fedgov would leave me the hell alone.
-I sincerely hope you have a Merry Christmas, my brother.”
Merry Christmas to you and your family and a safe Happy New Year.
You too, Bob.
Organizing conservative thinkers is like trying to herd cats.
I want you to stay home because you confuse intent with action. You're a low-information voter. You'll vote for a leftist such as Romney and call yourself a Republican. I note you have no actual debate arguments -- you have to allude to "medications" etc. instead of address the fundamental question: what was your action in the voting booth?
Your intent, or so you claim, is to vote "against" the Democrat. Your action is to move the Republican party left.
Own your action or stay home, is what I'm saying. Don't stay home if you like what Romney and the GOPe are offering. Go vote for it! Own it! You're comfortable with that government tyranny! Fine. JUST OWN IT.
And of course I don't just mean you, Repeal The 17th, I mean all of the relative handful of FReepers who advocate voting Republican at any cost. It's a proven failure, a dead-end approach, predicated on the sophistry of voting "against" -- that is, with zero reference to the price that requires you to necessarily vote FOR something else. Low Information Voters fail to grasp that essential, and thus should stay home because otherwise, they end up voting to move the Republican party left.
Brother Finny, please try to understand,
I do not advocate voting for republicans at any cost.
I do advocate voting against democrats at any cost.
I am at a loss as to why you find that distinction so confusing.
+1
Mr Rove, I’m surprised to see you posting at a conservative forum. Did you take a wrong turn on the way to GOPe cheerleader camp?
That's the point...you are, in all reality, NOT voting 'against' the democrats...you ARE voting FOR turning the Republican party left. You've fallen for the fallacy of voting 'against', when all you are doing is pushing the Republican Party to the left by voting for those that would "crush the Tea Party".
Repeal, you are eloquent about what you are willing to vote against.
Now be honest with yourself and with us about what that vote "against" cost you -- in other words, what did you vote FOR in order to vote "against"?
Then again, dware, you see that Repeal just may well actually believe that there is such a thing as, simply, a vote "against," as if you and I and all the rest of us could have voted "against" Obama if we'd wanted, without simultaneously voting FOR the Republican party to move hard left. Reapeal may very well be that kind of extreme low-information-voter who believes in the THREE slots on the ballot, FOR the leftist Republican, FOR the Democrat, or AGAINST the Democrat -- as if the first and last weren't one and the same.
America is better off when low information voters stay home because low information voters vote to turn America left even when they intend the opposite.
