What a good movie!
Just check out the filthy streets of the Upper West Side in John Cassavette’s “Husbands” made in the late 60s, I think. What a disgrace!

Don't forget "Fort Apache: the Bronx." There are also some excellent scenes of what a dump NYC was in the '70s in the The Seven-Ups. Particularly in the last ten minutes of the movie.
