I’ll get you for that.
“Beef wont come back down.”
Yes it will. Beef is high priced because a prolonged drought forced liquidation of beef cows. The beef cows produce the calves that are grown into 1,200 pound beef cattle.
The drought has mitigated; but it takes awhile to rebuild herds.
One factor that slows it even more; is a calves (including heifers) is/are worth a lot of money now. Does a rancher hold her back for a future cow and calf producer; or sell her now at a very price?
Implement higher and higher standards on raising animals for food products until it is impossible to meet.
Gotta be careful with that fertilizer!
Stuff has so much nitrogen, it’ll burn your plants to ashes!
Mix well and sparingly!
Now, that's funny!
Ommmmmm
...beginning January 1, 2015... California's new regulations on egg-laying hens goes into effect... In 2008, the Humane Society of the United States spent $10 million on a statewide campaign in California to pass Proposition 2, which bans the sale of eggs from hens kept in restrictive "battery cages" that are lined row-on-row in major hatcheries. Battery cage systems, which are the standard in the industry, account for over 90 percent of the eggs produced in the country. Not our problem. California can run the hell out of eggs, and then drop dead. I'm a mile from a cage facility, two miles from two grocery stores, and a few miles from various free-range free-lance farms which sell eggs on the side.
Oh, and the reason for the excerpt is, I didn’t want to create the impression that this had to do with corn ethanol. ;’)
I leave mine out for up to 5 days. They fry better.
“taste much better than grocery store eggs”
much better bunny? That’s an understatement. I hate to eat store eggs now. The difference is like a Steak at Gibson’s Chicago to a Cube Steak from a gas station (if there was such a thing).
As you pointed out, the yolk is orange. Its filled with Omega 3. Healthy eating due to the grass and bugs.
