MILWAUKEE (Reuters) - Dozens of protesters were arrested on Friday in Milwaukee when they blocked rush-hour traffic on a major highway to protest the killing of an unarmed black man who was fatally shot by a white police officer this year.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department took at least 73 adults and one minor into custody during the protest that blocked Interstate 43, which runs through the city, according to the department's Twitter feed.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and social media, protesters blocked traffic in both directions for about 75 minutes around 5 p.m. local time.

About time. There’s been too much pandering to them in other cities.
Doesn’t fit the fake narrative so it doesn’t matter.
Funny how those details (out of control schizo.beating a cop in the head with his own nightstick) never come up in the conversation.
I've yet to hear/read of any forced anarchy participation.
The crappy racists ever to it as “Shutitdown”. I submit that a better program for motorists might be called “runemdown”.
Or...”squishemwithyoursteelbeltedradials”. Have a Merry Christmas!
I’m sure this was calculated to engender good will amongst the working stiffs trying to get home for dinner and see their families but instead lost two hours of their lives in stalled rush-hour traffic. Not to mention the implications for global warming due to hundreds of extra tons of carbon released into the atmosphere by the stalled motorists.
That’s a good one.
My thought was more along the lines of the biggest Cat bulldozer with the biggest blade in front of all the people driving to work.
A few squashed protesters would put an end to this nonsense real fast.
How about using snow removal trucks to clean off the road so traffic can get through?
74 protesters arrested in Milwaukee for blocking highway.
