This piece was slightly disappointing - Heninger comes from a pure conventional wisdom point of view - and what he meant by “stupid party” is not at all what we mean by it.
But, I do agree with the over all premise of the looney left running the Democrat party into the ground.
All I can say to them is to please keep it up.

Cronimous? Amnesty? Funding Obamacare? Gay “marriage”. Over the counter chemical birth control/abortifacients.
Constitutional conservatives would then be a majority in primary voting. Our candidates could then express our views in debates and campaigning, then hopefully coalesce around one candidate who's NOT Jeb, Christie, Romney, Ryan, etc.
hillary is delaying announcing as long as possible. That makes it real tough for an opposition candidate to emerge. Elizabeth Warren just might be ruining that strategy. So, yeah, a strong Warren candidacy is all good at this point.
Democrats. The new Know Nothing Party. And proud of it.
This is true - we need the Democrats voting in Dem primaries only!
Before reading the opinion I would hasten to point out that is very similar to what was said about the Republicans a short time ago.
The Democrats own these two. Biden got Obama to do the first on our nation and Obamacare did the second.

Henninger can come and lecture us after Lizzie Warren sweeps into power on promises to give everybody a raise, forgive student loans, and punish all the bankers.

If Fauxchohantas becomes the 'Rat nominee and Dauphin Jeb the GOP, she's a lock. We need to throw all our efforts into stopping Bush #3 in IA and SC: NH is probably a lost cause.
I’m all about stopping Jeb, but I don’t see Jeb going anywhere. I do not fear his candidacy at all. Big waste of estab money.
However, Warren is the one Dem he would beat - she would be disaster in a general election.
I think the far left wing of the Dem party is the dumbest segment of the political landscape, with the dumbest voters.
I think the GOP estabs are second on the dumb o meter.
