Three McMinnville police officers faced off with Juventino Bermudez-Arenas as he held the large blade he'd just used to kill a 20-year-old Linfield College student.
Officers pulled their guns. One, who spoke Spanish, reached for her Taser but dropped it and grabbed her pistol as Bermudez-Arenas lowered his head and his hands and appeared to move forward.
Seconds before they fatally shot the 33-year-old Mexican man, police yelled, "Get on the ground," and, "Drop the knife," again and again.

When a man in a uniform is yelling and screaming at you - while pointing a pistol at your head - it matters not what language he is using or what language you speak.

Okay. You’ve just stabbed somebody. A bunch of cops come running up, draw their weapons and aim them at you. You can’t understand a word that they’re shouting at you, for whatever reason.
What the f*** do you THINK they want?
It takes a liberal could fail to understand this situation, no one else could pull it off.
Police yelling at you with guns drawn is a universal language.

I suspect that the suspect understood what the shouting officers were demanding even if he didn’t speako the lingo.

IF I were in SAY China and I had a knife to a young woman’s throat facing off against 3 Chinese cops under this absurd proposal the Chinese cops should know English!
What about Russian, Hebrew, Arab, Korean, Japanese, American Indian, and on and on. Where does it stop? If you make the cops learn one language the others will start screaming “discrimination”.
A better solution would be to deport every 3rd Liberal. We need a dilution of Liberals in this country! And, they should be required to have a non government, private sector job!
