For conservatives, it’s all about 2016, and that starts in 2015
Washington Times ^ | December 15, 2014 | By Steve Deace

Republicans won big in the 2014 midterm election, but it already looks as if conservatives still lost.

Just look at what’s transpired the past few weeks:

- The GOP establishment moved quickly to retain all their leadership positions before the new Congress is convened in January, thus shutting conservatives completely out of the mix.

- That same GOP leadership has already funded every Obama scam they promised the American people during the campaign they would stop, scheming alongside a president they keep describing as “lawless” to pass the so-called “Cromnibus.”

- Only 21 Republicans in the U.S. Senate went on the record that Mr. Obama’s executive amnesty is unconstitutional (none of them were in GOP Senate leadership), and nine of those 21 then turned right around and voted to fund something they just voted as unconstitutional.

All of this renders the expensive escapade known as the 2014 election utterly meaningless if you’re an American patriot. That is unless you prefer your Marxist Progressivism to come from an elephant instead of a donkey.

Oh, I know some of you won’t want to admit this to yourselves. I can’t say I blame you, because this admission is about as much fun as being a pro-life group applying for your 501(c)3 status with Mr. Obama’s IRS.

But we can’t just ignore reality.

A reality that says Republican leadership has backed down from every showdown they were supposed to have with Mr. Obama. A reality that says Republican leadership whined harder to the mainstream media about Ted Cruz making them vote on Mr. Obama’s lawlessness than they’ve ever actually fought it. A reality that says if they weren’t going to defund Mr. Obama’s amnesty now before that train leaves the station, they’ll never have the cojones to do it later...

(the democrat party would like to express their thanks)

See, that lame crap attempt at shaming doesn't work anymore.

The GOP party FUNDED Amnesty.

The GOP FUNDED ObamaCare.

Your party rubber-stamped an illegal, unconstitutional act.

The GOP Establishment rigged the primary system with an increase in PAC donations from corporate donors to make it impossible for Conservatives to primary ruling class oligarchs.

It is the Democrat Party that expresses their thanks to all the deceived hopefuls that voted for liberal Statists with an 'R' after their name.

We no longer have a representative Republic. The Republicans put the last nail in that coffin.

We now have an Imperial Fascist Oligarchy ruling us.

Repeal,

Do you consider yourself a Christian?

If so, if the GOP nominates a man or woman who supports either Abortion or the Gay Agenda (Think Romney) will you vote for that person when there is a third party candidate who does not?

So what are you going to do?
...not vote; vote for a 3rd party; or write in “Micky Mouse”?

The reality is that politics is not pretty.
You either choose to vote “for” or you choose to vote “against”.
...OR...
you choose not to participate and let someone else decide.

I think you will continue to practice insanity and forever delude yourself about how you are saving the nation with your vote for the oligarchy.

I meanwhile, will be refusing to comply with tyranny and preparing for what all tyrannies eventually do to their dissidents.

How silly and ignorant.

The reality is, in a tyranny, your vote is immaterial. The agenda proceeds whether or not the voters approve of it. 'Choosing' your leaders is no longer an option because it is the rulers who orchestrate who will 'win' and what will be done.

Thus elections become an illusion, a charade to placate the masses into complying with tyranny because 'the government is us".

The reality is that we no longer have 'politics', we have tyranny - and it is ugly all the way around unless you are in the Ruling Class.

This is a very good article, up until the author starts saying that they way to fight back is to focus on electing a conservative president in 2016.

Huh? Because spending our time and resources in electing alleged conservatives has been so successful to date, we should double down and do it again in 2016. That’s just plain silly.

Freedom and liberty are not going to be found in electoral politics.
