Two reasons.
First, those 18 year old blonde chicks just ramble on forever and it detracts from the 'atmosphere' of the situation.
Second, they all wanted Cosby to promise them a 'part' (they all seemed to be 'aspiring actresses') and this just eliminated the 'false' promises he would be forced to make. Even if he tried to follow through on any promises, he knew it was a rare thing that any of them would have made anything out it.
I went to the list of 'accusers' and they seem to have the following in common:
Aspiring actresses and models who would do ANYTHING to get a part/job.
Went to the Playboy Mansion knowing full well what went on and were not of drinking age, but had little or no problem accepting an alcoholic drink.
Even after having an 'encounter' with Cosby (at the Mansion, or his HOTEL ROOM, or his HOUSE) they went back. Many of them multiple times. One woman did it for four months.
I'm not saying Cosby was innocent. He seems to have some sexual deviancy pattern probably cultivated at the Playboy Mansion.
It's just that if you go to the Playboy Club as an 18 year old female, looking to 'get noticed' by a Hollywood Star by sexually flirting with them, then don't be surprised if they take you up on it.
It would seem that some of these women only objected because it was Cosby licking their toes, and not Brad Pitt.

I could believe that some were as you describe, but not all. The fact is that we will never know for sure unless the women involved recant, his wife admits to knowing some of the details or Cosby confesses.
It’s a sad situation.

I am having a hard time feeling sorry for the skanks or for Cosby.
