Thank you very much, Kathy! Feeling better, thanks! Rehearsal Thursday night and the Requiem yesterday went well - the voice is coming back - hopefully, I'll be a Tenor again by Midnight Mass.

We did a little work on the fence today - got the last post in the back end - we were ready to start hanging the cross members and slats when I found we did not have the requisite nails and screws. A short road trip to pick up the hardware and by the time I got home, my assistants were fatigued and begged off for the afternoon.

I acquiesced - I wanted to watch Army-Navy anyway.

The fence will still be there tomorrow.

"Dia shábháil ar fad anseo!"
This is the Arabic character "nun" – the first letter of the word "Nazarene." I post it as my avatar in solidarity with people of all faiths suffering persecution at the hands of Islam. Many of them are members of the oldest of our Christian Communities, dating from the days of the Apostles. They endure cruel, merciless and unrelenting persecution. They are Orthodox and Catholic, Protestant and Evangelical, Coptic, Pentecostal, and Baptist. To the persecutors they, and we, are all "Nazarenes."
