It’s becoming clear that they don’t give a rip about smaller government – they just want the power to run the bloated behemoth themselves.
Nothing will change until either Boehner or McConnell gets voted out. McConnell just got 6 more years, if the Good Lord gives him life. Boehner just got two more—thanks, Ohio. It is only when the leadership loses their seats—and it happens far too rarely—that we get their attention. As long as they are holding office securely, they just Do Not Care about the voters, what we want, or what is best for the country.
