Nothing will change until either Boehner or McConnell gets voted out. McConnell just got 6 more years, if the Good Lord gives him life. Boehner just got two more—thanks, Ohio. It is only when the leadership loses their seats—and it happens far too rarely—that we get their attention. As long as they are holding office securely, they just Do Not Care about the voters, what we want, or what is best for the country.
It’s not really Ohio’s fault though.
If the GOP didn’t want this man as Speaker, he wouldn’t be Speaker regardless of whether or not he was still in congress.
He is in that position because the GOP wants him there, which says a alot about the GOP.
Same goes for McConnell. If the senate continues to put a person such as this who does nothing but fail, then their goal obviously is to fail, and Mitch is the man for that job without a doubt.
I agree with what you say, but what about congress critters voting them back into positions of leadership. No one has the guts to take on their leadership positions, and therefore, Boehner and McConnell will be reelected to leadership posts once again when January roles around.
Then We should demand that Boehner and McConnell leave voluntarily.
They have clearly fallen down on the job, they need to resign
I’m dubious. Paul Ryan was portrayed as the conservative peanut butter to Romney’s chocolate... Fooled even me for awhile. I wouldn’t believe that a conservative was actually in power and kicking ass until I saw a few shitestains on the wall.
