Sheriffs: Obama’s Amnesty Creates ‘Insurgence of Heroin,’ ‘Saloon-Door’ Border Mentality

Sheriffs from across the nation held came to Capitol Hill Wednesday to warn of the dangers of Pres. Obama’s executive order grant amnesty to an estimated four million illegal aliens. At the press event, hosted by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the sheriffs called on Congress to defund the president’s amnesty edict.

Sheriff Chuck Jenkins (Frederick County, Maryland; Maryland Sheriff’s Association) said Obama’s action is attracting transnational gangs:

“You ask, why am I here? Because what we see in Frederick County, Maryland, are the same problems that the border county sheriffs see. We see human trafficking, we see an insurgence of heroin, we see transnational criminal gang members coming into our communities, committing crimes, harming our citizens, and breaking the law by every means possible.” Sheriff Andy Louderback (Jackson County, Texas; President, Texas Sheriff’s Association

Western Sheriffs Association) said the executive order creates a “saloon-door” border mentality:

“I represent the Sheriffs’ Association of Texas here. What we’re facing in Texas and in this nation is a large ‘Welcome’ sign and a saloon-door mentality on our border… We do not support this amnesty. We cannot support this amnesty. The sheriffs in this country stand united and unified against this type of illegal situation that’s going on. And we would ask for everyone to unite behind us as we give everything we can to try to get this country back the way it should be.” Sheriff Paul Babeu (Pinal County, Arizona; President, Arizona Sheriff’s Association) said it’s time to put the rights and needs of Americans ahead of those of illegal aliens for once:

“For you and I as American citizens, when it comes to law enforcement, the law applies to you and I, yet when it comes to immigration, there is no law, because there are no consequences. It’s something that we in law enforcement have to deal with, have to fight. And we want this Congress to stand up with Sen. Sessions and Sen. Vitter and other leaders in the House and Senate, and as a lawmaking body—stand up and stop the President from [carrying out] this executive amnesty that he’s taken. We want the focus to be, instead of putting illegals first and their rights, what about putting Americans and our rights and our security, [for] once, first? Put our security first. And that should be driving this debate that nobody should disagree with.” Sheriff Sam Page (Rockingham County, North Carolina; National Sheriffs Association, Committee on Immigration Co-Chair) voiced the sheriffs’ call for Congress to put an end to amnesty by defunding it:

“Defund this amnesty. Defund this executive action by the President, and redirect those funds—if you want to put them in a good, working place—redirect those to border security, to make sure we secure our borders first in America. That should be our first concern: North, South, East, and West, and all ports of entry. Our leadership needs to listen, as you’ve heard, listen to the American people, and make us—the U.S. citizens—the first priority in this country. Secure our borders, and protect the American citizens.”

Heroin has been the plan all along. Afghans cash crop is being protected by NATO.

“Heroin has been the plan all along.”

You may be right. Huge heroin smuggling pipelines are operating, heroin is cheap and plentiful, but the Powers That Be blame doctors prescribing pain pills rather than the semi-official imports.

It has been since the 50’s, Afghanistan produces over 90% of the Worlds Opium. How do you think all that product gets through with our Military on their borders??

I think the plan is to destroy law enforcement and allow the leftists to institute a federal police force. Sheriffs, in particular, are our protection against federal tyranny. This is also why we are seeing a flood of attacks on the police.

I think so too.

This is the reason we have the Freemason sockpuppets in office. We have a heroin epidemic, and legal opiates are being prescribed to kids. Nothing is what it seems. Obama isn’t the problem, it is the industry that placed him.

Canada is a commonwealth of Britain. They have recently authorized medical heroin distrubution through doctors. This was part of the drug legalization plan since at least 1998.

There is big money in drug trafficking and the banks are laundering by the Trillions with impunity.

Only because criminalization is such a huge barrier to market entry. Thanks for the pro-legalization argument.

Has Obama signed the executive order yet, or is he pulling some law trick to make people believe that he signed the order, when he really hasn't? Sad. Sad. Sad.
