As CIA chief John Brennan defended the spy agency's interrogation program for terror suspects Thursday, a senior senator whose committee published a damning report on the practice contested his claims.
Senate Intelligence Committee chair Dianne Feinstein's staff repeatedly used the hashtag #ReadTheReport on the senator's Twitter feed during Brennan's rare press conference broadcast live from CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia.
Brennan said it was "unknowable" whether key information from suspects subjected to so-called enhanced interrogation techniques (EITs), which critics have equated to torture, could have been obtained through other methods.
But Feinstein's staff responded: "Study shows it IS knowable: CIA had info before torture. #ReadTheReport."

Really, Feinstein? Like you read the Obamacare bill? Like you read the budgets you have passed the last five years? Oh wait—the SENATE hasn’t passed a budget, has it?
pure comedy. Since when has Feinstein read a bill she’s voting on! Is Gruber still giving her PR advice???
#DOUBLEDOWNONSTUPID
#ReadObamaHealthAct
This is so stupid it’s funny.
All you need to do to get blind conservative support for the CIA (an espionage operation run by minions of new world order elites which they use to protect the elites’ illegal drug business, cause wars and revolutions for their elite masters, start the drug-counter-culture of the 60’s, etc.)...
is have some wacko Democrat be the one attacking the CIA.
And the wacko Finesteen doesn’t even have to really “attack” the CIA by publishing even a tiny fraction of the really bad stuff they do.
Those things can remain secret from the sheeple and unacknowledged by our puppet rulers.
In a sane world, Feinstein would be waterboarded. I’d volunteer to do it myself. Hypocritical thieving old hag.
I want the names of these damn ‘staffers’ to be revealed
Let these little pissant traitors feel the heat for their perfidy a bit
and here they are , along with what they have been paid :

The old Capo is 81, oldest in the Senate. Doubt she will last much longer, at least that’s my hope. Ditto for Boxer who is 74 and is making noises about not running again. The will probably both be replaced by a couple of illegal aliens.
This from a terrific site “Sweetness & Light” in 2010
That’s right, from 2010.
between 2001 and 2007, the CIA briefed at least 68 members of Congress on the CIA interrogation program, including so-called “enhanced interrogation techniques.” The documents include the dates of all congressional briefings and, in some cases, the members of Congress in attendance and the specific subjects discussed. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who previously denied she was briefed by the CIA on the use of these techniques, is specifically referenced in a briefing that took place on April 24, 2002, regarding the “ongoing interrogations of Abu Zubaydah.” Zubaydah had been subjected to the enhanced interrogation techniques.
More
According to a June 1, 2005, CIA report entitled, Detainee Reporting Pivotal for the War Against Al-Qaida, “Detainee reporting accounts for more than half of all HUMINT reporting on al-Qaida since the program began ”
And more still
Moreover, according to an April 2009 CNN report, President Obamas Intelligence Director, retired Admiral Dennis Blair, told colleagues in an April 16 memo on the subject of “enhanced interrogation techniques,” that “High value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qaida organization that was attacking this country.”

And here is the meat of research by Judicial Watch, February 2010
Let’s get real here and it’s been reported in the past:
“The freakin Senate Intelligence Commitee was apprised of this as it was occuring”.
No one said “Hey, that’s not what we’re about. Stop”
Here are just some examples of what really happened and don’t fool yourself about any lady or grandmother being saintly and sweet.
In September 2002, four members of Congress met in secret for a first look at a unique CIA program designed to wring vital information from reticent terrorism suspects in U.S. custody. For more than an hour, the bipartisan group, which included current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), was given a virtual tour of the CIA’s overseas detention sites and the harsh techniques interrogators had devised to try to make their prisoners talk.
“...on that day, no objections were raised. Instead, at least two lawmakers in the room asked the CIA to push harder, two U.S. officials said.
“The briefer was specifically asked if the methods were tough enough,” said a U.S. official who witnessed the exchange.”
The lawmakers who held oversight roles during the period included Pelosi and Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.) and Sens. Bob Graham (D-Fla.) and John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), as well as Rep. Porter J. Goss (R-Fla.) and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan).

See any freakin democrats on that list?
Fk them and their pure as the driven snow and high moral standing.
They approved of it and wondered if we could do more.
Like what? Serve em a birthday cake?
Cuz the sure in the hell wasn’t what they were asking.
None of the other lawmakers briefed raised formal objections. Those lawmakers included former Sen. Bob Graham (D-FL), former Sen. John Rockefeller IV (D-WV), former Rep. Porter Goss (R-FL) and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KN).
“Individual lawmakers’ recollections of the early briefings varied dramatically, but officials present during the meetings described the reaction as mostly quiet acquiescence, if not outright support,” the Post added. ‘Among those being briefed, there was a pretty full understanding of what the CIA was doing,’ said Goss, who chaired the House intelligence committee from 1997 to 2004 and then served as CIA director from 2004 to 2006. ‘And the reaction in the room was not just approval, but encouragement.’”

There are more articles detailing just who knew and approved of this but, suffice to say if George Bush was such a bastard what does that make Pelosi and Rockefeller?
Dianne did not do her friends any favors and I hope the alternative media, at least, picks up on this.
If the Democrats want to serve as moralists, in hindsight, then let’s put everyone on the same pile of crap they are shoveling.
Frankly, I believe almost none of these Dinosaurs in Congress read anything except a script that has been prepared by their “staffers”. Those sniveling little conniving sh!ts like the young Hillary on the Watergate debacle who lied and subverted any way she could - eventually fired by her own people.
And when the work gets too cumbersome for the staffers and advisers they hire outside goons like Gruber.
It sounds like we need a crossover, double blind test to find out if enhanced interrogation techniques work. We should round up a few truck loads of Muslim yoots, and start the experiment. ...Can rehydration water be used for water boarding?
All of this begs the questions: When did Senator DiFi learn to read, before or after Obamacare came along? Is DiFi a measure of what the Senate calls “intelligence?”
Liberals are taking less than 1% of what the CIA did and presenting it as if it was representative of the last 13 years. They are also denying any utility in the information if there was any other source for the same information, when the truth is that confirmation among multiple sources is key to intelligence work.
