Indeed. ‘Protesters’ turned arsonists, or insurance arson, but in any case I doubt the arson dogs will go too long before finding traces of accelerants.
I wonder if it was fully insured.
Usually the enviro-whackos get their shorts in a twist over construction out in the boonies. Why did they burn this one that was being built in the city?
They did a bang up job investigating at Waco.
Why the ATF? Do they suspect alcohol, tobacco, or firearms caused the fire?
There was practically NO protesting in LA. That’s a dead end.
There are too many others who wanted the building to end.
First it was ugly as sin. The developer had two other monster projects within blocks of this one. All overbuilding their lots.
According to another article ... they called it the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Said that bomb sniffing dogs were needed.
You are baddd LOL!
Government funded housing contracts for lower income tenants and/or Sec 8, built by union scale construction workers, half-way built, burnt down at a time (2:45 am Sunday evening/Monday morning) when noone was on the job, with a inferno that totally engulfed a one block area in appx 5 minutes, 8 stories high, a fire station less than one block away, during so called time of civil unrest, while a similar fire raged 2 hours later five miles west near McAurthur Park.
Yeah, it’s arson.
Question is: Who benefits? Union/SEIU/Obama/rioters
More likely they would need a dog trained to detect an accelerant.
LOL!
My cousin lives up in LA, her husband told me right after all the Ferguson stuff started (the recent round), sidewalk trash cans, and back alley dumpsters were getting torched, all over town. The word is that this was the next step.
I can’t source this inferno cause as anything other than rumor, but it does not sound out of the realm of possibility.
