Several players on both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets, including LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Kyrie Irving and Deron Williams, wore black "I Can't Breathe" T-shirts during pregame warm-ups Monday, following in the footsteps of Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose who wore the same shirt in a game Saturday to show support for the family of Eric Garner.

Lebron does not need to loot. Annual salary:

LeBron James, SF Cleveland Cavaliers $20,644,400

Civilized people are stupid to support such garbage. Why give stage to thugs like LeBron?

I haven’t watched an NBA game in at least 10 years. If people start tuning out, his value goes way down.

>>Hey, rioters...do you think Lebron would welcome you to his place for a party?<<

The only thing rich Black people despise more than Whites is their fellow Blacks.

If these people would stop their 'evil living', they might have better lungs.

Yes my best friend is Lutheran.
They’re also great at making jello squares (LWML).

Sadly so many American’s live are empty enough that these entertainers are all they have to opiate themselves. Those people really do care what these rich minstrels think.

(Tom Lehrer)

First you get down on your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Do whatever steps you want, if
You have cleared them with the Pontiff.
Everybody say his own
Kyrie eleison,
Doin’ the Vatican Rag.

Get in line in that processional,
Step into that small confessional,
There, the guy who’s got religion’ll
Tell you if your sin’s original.
If it is, try playin’ it safer,
Drink the wine and chew the wafer,
Two, four, six, eight,
Time to transubstantiate!

So get down upon your knees,
Fiddle with your rosaries,
Bow your head with great respect,
And genuflect, genuflect, genuflect!

Make a cross on your abdomen,
When in Rome do like a Roman,
Ave Maria,
Gee it’s good to see ya,
Gettin’ ecstatic an’
Sorta dramatic an’
Doin’ the Vatican Rag!

"Thuggery in pro sports isn’t good for business, and the leagues and the owners surely must realize this now or later."

They get away with thuggery BECAUSE they play pro sports

Take Ray Rice, if he had been a regular joe, that elevator video would have guaranteed DV charges and some jail time, not just a slap on the wrist.

“thugs like LeBron”

I’m glad you acknowledge that you haven’t watched the NBA in years, because otherwise that would be a laughable comment. In what world is LeBron James a “thug”?

As an aside, years ago a disc jockey talked about the puzzles listeners gave him with misheard song lyrics. He said one of the hardest he thought about for days before he finally figured it out.

This guy had called in asking about the song with the lyrics “Cutting her legs off.”

“Kyrie Eleison”.

Eh, a lot of teams did stuff like that. I don’t think it was supporting thugs - more like they bought into the media narrative that ignored/denied that Trayvon was a thug.

Way to alienate your wealthy white ticket-buying fans, IDIOTS. BOYCOTT THE NFL AND NBA.

I’ll give you this ..... I believe he’s responsible for his kids so you may be right.

I guess I wrongly threw a blanket over a league and included him.

I didn’t care for the way police took down Eric Garner either.

Maybe the local police departments should boycott NBA games. No cops to handle gate crashers, drunks, etc. Anyone want to go to an NBA game? Just go. No on duty police to stop you.
