An action alert sent to Capitol Hill staffers from CQ Roll Call suggests that House Speaker John Boehners plan to fund President Barack Obamas executive amnesty action for illegal aliens in a CR-omnibus bill may be beginning to fall aparteven as Nancy Pelosis top lieutenant Steny Hoyer has been pushing Democrats to help Boehner pass it.
The first sign of a crack in the coalition is that the billa more-than-$1 trillion omnibus that funds all of government except for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the end of the 2015 fiscal year in Septembermay not be introduced on Monday. GOP leaders were hoping to have the text out today. The bill is expected to fund Obamas amnesty and all the rest of DHS through March 2015, and GOP leaders including Boehner have not pledged to fight it even then.
Senior GOP aides say the text of the so-called cromnibus may not be released Monday, as initially anticipated, CQ Roll Call said in the alert. Several issues appeared to be holding up last-minute negotiations on the wrap-up government spending package, the staffers said. Lawmakers will likely need to clear a very short-term continuing resolution, since current spending expires Dec. 11. A House GOP appropriations aide said the committee hopes to file that bill tonight.

Lord, hear our prayer.
KILL it.
So will Boehner be thrown under his own omnibus?
I could not trust nor respect this weasel less than I already do.
Translation: Republicans, after watching the backlash Democrats faced from passing Obamacare, are much less willing to fall on their swords for the cause.
“KILL it.”
Were you referring to the Bonehead?
After all, I do consider that being to be an “it”.
Boehner is becoming as loathesome as the Commie. He’s a quisling.
FWIW:
“
Matt Fuller @MEPFuller
On releasing the Cromnibus text, another GOP leadership aide just emailed to say “the goal is to file tonight [Monday].” “
What ‘gets’ me: They say they can do a CR for a few days to get this through, But that they can’t do a CR for a few weeks (until the new Congress is seated).
Such a blatant lie.
Pssssst! Juan, the Republicans won the House and Senate with an apparent mandate. “Working with the Dems” was not the message.
Boner is an evil, drunkin fool.
They don’t want to be “Cantored.”
Hopefully it backs over him, a few times.
In case there was any confusion about that, the LA vote on Saturday is crystal clear.
I have never, ever understood how in the world this man got and has retained the level of authority and power he has. Who are the brain dead idiots who think this “crybaby, bend-over backwards to attempt to make Democrats happy, sorry excuse of a Republican” should be making decisions for the Republicans in the House of Representatives????????
The GOP and its mouthpieces constantly intone that they want to get this or that issue ‘off the table.’
It all sounds very neat and tidy but isn’t it simply another name for avoiding honest and open debate? Isn’t it capitulation, surrender and/or collaboration?
If both parties stand for the same things then why, specifically, should we support one over the other? It’s easy to say D and R are alike but why is R attempting to prove it by eliminating any distinction under the rubric of bipartisanship?
Boner's ride is the Rummy Bus.
At the risk of repeating myself, I restate my “Harlem Globetrotter” theory”
In a 2-party system, the job security of the second, losing, #2 team, is exactly the same as that of the winning team. The GOP thinks it’s so damn smart, anticipating a demographic (and thus voting bloc) tipping point that will forever doom the GOP as a winning bet. That the result will be a systemic deterioration of the country, its opportunity, and everything else you and I believe it stands for, these weasels just want to get theirs before the last scrap of meat is picked off the corpse.
(KILL it. Were you referring to the Bonehead? After all, I do consider that being to be an it.)
It is quite all right to feel that way, in the spirit of a true liberal, consider it a very, very late term abortion..
Boehner can go straight to hell with his master 0bama and take his bill with him!
