George Wallace did become a Christian in his later years and repented of his racism.Good for him! But did Wallace also renounce his liberalism?

Good for him! But did Wallace also renounce his liberalism? I really don't know but at the very least he repented of the racism aspect of liberalism after he became wheel chair bound. He went around to black churches testifying of his change and asking for forgiveness, he was well received among black Christians.
