What does this make the senate now?
54 Repub seats
“Bill” Cassidy (R) 56.76% 697189

Landrieu (D): 43.12% (531,406 votes)
Cassidy (R): 56.88% (700,978 votes)
3862 of 4,018 Precincts Reporting (1,232,384 votes)
As Orleans starts to dump. 84 Orleans precincts to go out of those 156 remaining.
Then again, with McCain and other Dem appeasers, the Dems still have a lot of power. Plus Obama’s veto.

Edwin Edwards say he will never seek public office again.
54-46 GOP. 9+ pickups. This is the exclamation point to a great year.
With the two LA House races decided, the House is 246-187 GOP with the AZ House race still not called.
If that goes GOP, it will be a new high water mark there since 1946.
Good news.
works for me
I came down to Houston today to visit my dearest family who have voted dem forever and they all blurted out at the same time while we.re watching pearl harbor that they voted republican in Nov. They brought it up. I am shocked. In a good way.

Especially the FOOD!
She got torched in Ascension, Livingston and St. Tammany parishes. Those three almost offset her win in Orleans.
The Democrats lost half their seats in just three election cycles.

Elsewhere, Don Cravins Sr. loses reelection bid for Opelousas mayor. His joke about voting twice had become issue in Senate race.
I like that Garrett Graves guy— has some conservative fire in the belly it seems.
